From Collabs to Community🫱🏾‍🫲🏽

We closed out the summer collaborating with DropSound Events Pittsburgh. Two of my favorite classes from the series were 70’s R&B Blueprint and 90’s R&B Flow, both taught through noise-canceling headphones that blend music and movement into an immersive experience.

Sol Soul Sole has since begun offering our own noise-cancellation headphone experiences called Soundless Soul Sync. The combination of hand-curated playlists and mindful flow creates the feeling that you’re practicing in your own world. It takes your awareness and embodiment to an entirely new level!

A special Soundless Soul Sync highlight last month was a private bachelorette session. Congratulations to our beautiful bride, Gina, and her incredible circle of friends. Thank you, Jessica, for inviting SSS into such a meaningful moment.

We were also invited to present a Yoga for Gardeners workshop to the Southern Butler County Garden Club at the Mars Library in late October. It was an informative and grounding session, and a beautiful reminder that mindful movement truly meets people wherever they are.

Peace, Love, and Learning

This marks our third school year with Peace Love and Learning in Mount Washington. We visit once a month, and every time, the joy, curiosity, and wisdom these bright stars carry remind me why I do this work. Patricia, the school’s founder, teaches me something new every time I’m there.

This week, Patricia launched her latest project, Peace Love and Purpose. Through a beautifully curated catalog of Montessori and Reggio-inspired learning materials, she has hand-picked products and resources to give parents and educators confidence in selecting meaningful and inclusive learning tools. Her materials have been tried and tested in the classroom and in her own parenting journey.

Beaver Falls Middle School

A strong, caring, and highly dedicated administration and guidance team transformed the former office of the late guidance counselor, Mr. Carter, into a mindfulness room - a dedicated safe space designed to be an escape for students. I am beyond grateful to witness this space come alive.

A project headed up by Mrs. Ceriani, during this school year, SSS visits BFMS twice a month as part of their after-school program. We are connecting the next generation with foundational tools for navigating the stressors of adolescence through Soundless Soul Sync, emphasizing the use of breathwork and mindful movement for emotional regulation.

Community College of Beaver County

A new year is on the horizon. And the phrase “new year, new me” circles back every season (rolls eyes 👀)…

But maybe this time, transformation isn’t something you simply flirt with. Perhaps it’s time to commit.

This February, we launch our 12-week Faith in Motion: Foundations of Flow course at the Community College of Beaver County.

This progressive program guides you in building a mindful movement practice from the ground up, combining lecture with interactive application. We’ll cover key components of the Foundations of Flow: faith, breathwork, mindfulness, awareness, strength, stretching, and balance (to name a few), giving you the techniques and tools to create a mindful movement practice that’s uniquely your own.

🍊 Orange Ya Glad Monday Morning Mindful Movement is Back?

Join us on Monday mornings at 6 AM as we ease into the week with intention, breath, and a gentle return to the basics.

Monday Morning Mindful Movement is all about applying the Foundations of Flow, slowing things down so your body can actually feel what it’s doing, where it is, and how it moves. We’re intentionally rebuilding proprioception: the quiet, powerful sense that supports your balance, your coordination, and your confidence in every step you take.

Through simple postures, steady breathwork, and smooth, breath-led transitions, we’ll wake up the body from the inside out, cultivating awareness, stability, balance, and strength that carry you through the rest of your day.

Beginner-friendly. Balance-focused. Straightforward, supportive, and the perfect start to your week. Can’t make it in real time? No worries. The recording will be available for you to revisit at any time.

Closing Reflection 🪞

Hidden Gem: Ruby🌹

I often feel like I’m trying to keep up with everything—school, work, business, family, friends, finances, wins, losses, all the ebbs and flows. But lately, God has been calling me to slow down, to listen, and to be obedient to His will.

Here’s a question I keep coming back to:
Is it easier to fight upstream or float with the current?

Resistance to change will keep us stuck.

My grandmother passed away last month, and I’ve been considering the ways her life will continue to shape me. 🧡🌱 In the midst of grief, I found myself returning to her scrapbooks and the small treasures she tucked away over the years. This is a Sol Soul Sole recreation of her hidden gems, pieces of her that are helping me see me.

That reflection carried me into movement. I felt called to turn on the camera and make a video—an impromptu stream where I clear my mind, breathe, release, and let my body speak when my words fail.

I feel God holding me with a grace I can’t explain. He’s been revealing the power of legacy and lineage. Our ancestors held wisdom in their stories, passing down their journey with God from generation to generation through the art of storytelling. It inspires me to carry the story to be a vessel for the next chapter.

When I pause long enough to reflect, I get to experience the fullness of what God has been doing all along. The goal then becomes living from that fullness each moment, every day…

To move in peace.

To stay aligned with the Holy Spirit.

To remain in harmony, in lockstep with God.

The message I hear from this reflection is simple: Stay pure.

The pictures of this little girl remind me of what wholeness looks like… and just how long God has been shaping my story.

Jesus said,

“ I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

—Matthew 18:3-4 NLT

As the year wraps up, obviously, we’re preparing for what’s ahead.
