How we see it…
👁️ I see a movement that empowers every person—at every age and in every season of life—to reclaim the abundant life God intended, free from unnecessary barriers and limitations.
👁️ I see people rediscovering the simple, powerful gifts God has already given us: breath, movement, and intentional presence. Through them, we become more aware of Him, more attuned to our bodies, and more anchored in His peace.
👁️ I see people experiencing healing in every dimension of their being—physical, emotional, intellectual, social, occupational, and spiritual—learning to trust that God has already equipped us with what we need not to survive, but to thrive.
👁️ I see people embracing their identity in Christ as they cultivate awareness, steward their bodies, renew their minds, and encounter God's presence in everyday life.
👁️ I see individuals becoming communities, and communities becoming functioning members of the Body of Christ.
👁️ I see heaven touching earth through the movement of embodied faith, collective restoration, and a shared pursuit of union with God.

Where Faith Meets Movement
Language
As language evolves, so do the meanings we attach to words.
Today, the word "yoga" is often used as a broad term for practices centered on physical movement and wellness, like stretching, breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness, as it has become familiar in Westernized Culture.
(This is how we used it on our original merch)
For some, however, yoga remains deeply connected to ancient Eastern philosophies and spiritual traditions.
We now recognize and respect both perspectives and the individuals who hold them.
As Sol Soul Sole grows, so does our responsibility to communicate with clarity and intention.
Intention
Our focus is not on defining, debating, or defending the word, practice, or philosophy of "yoga."
Our responsibility is to clearly define what we do. As our mission grows, we've become increasingly intentional about using language that accurately communicates our faith, our philosophy, and the work God has called us to do.
We intentionally distinguish our practice as Mindful Movement. This is not simply a change in terminology; it is a clearer expression of our identity, our faith, and our mission.
Defining Mindful Movement
Mindful Movement is the intentional practice of bringing awareness to the present moment using breathand movement to obtain balance in all six dimensions:physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual, and functional.
The practice uses a toolkit of techniques to reconnect, realign, and recalibrate you for the purpose for which you were created. Through breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, postural alignment, stretching, strengthening, and balance, we cultivate habits that preserve our health.
As awareness is brought to the body, the breath, and the present moment, transformation begins. As the vehicle of the soul, the human body requires routine maintenance to function optimally.
Faithful stewardship of the body honors the One who created it. In this way, mindful movement becomes an opportunity to worship, listen, and commune with God.
“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable.
This is truly the way to worship Him.”
